Have you ever felt distant from God?

It has been a while since I have posted as I have had life thrown at me pretty heavily this year. I am currently seeking an internship opportunity through my graduate work and have been working really hard on my class work. It has been beyond stressful yet I know that it will be rewarding. That being said, sometimes I feel as though I am no longer as close to God as I once was or that the feeling of worrying to fail in my schooling has kept me from Him. Have you ever felt this way in your life?

I, personally, have felt this way a lot lately. I feel as though I have neglected the time I once gave God and have used the excuse of not having time in order to make myself feel better about it. I know that this is wrong and that I am fooling myself if I think there isn’t time for my Creator in my day. So how do I go about fixing this?

Solomon once struggled with this too. He came to the realization through his prayer that God awaits to hear from us, to forgive our sins, and also to restore the relationship that we once had with Him. God is always waiting and listening for our confessions of what and how we have sinned. He wants us to recommit to Him and to obey Him once again. God hears us when we pour out our problems to Him and also what we need. He is also always ready to restore and forgive us for all that we have done, no matter what and no matter how far we feel that we have drifted. We must not wait to experience this forgiveness and love that He offers to all people. No matter how far you feel you have drifted, no matter how distant you feel from God, He is always waiting and wanted to hear from you. Talk to Him and restore your relationship with God the Father. God knows our hearts. He will always know what our true intentions are when seeking Him and a relationship with Him and His Son.

Then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Forgive, and deal with everyone according to all they do, since you know their hearts (for you alone know the human heart)
